因果论证是雅思写作中最常用、最有效的论证方式之一

　　because成为很多同学写作时最常用的词之一

　　稍有语法基础的同学都可准确使用because引导的状语从句。

　　例：

　　Some people think that the average weight of children is increasing because there are more and more fast food restaurants.

　　基础稍微再强一点的同学可灵活使用because of/due to的用法。Because of /due to后跟名词或者名词性短语的，所以上面的句子可改成：

　　Some people think that the average weight of children is increasing because of/due tomore and more fast food restaurants.

　　通过逻辑转化进行句子改写

　　对于很多同学来讲还是会有because/because of过度使用的困扰。如何避免?今天介绍的办法就是通过逻辑转化来实现句子改写。仔细分析不难发现A + because/because of + B句子结构内在逻辑是“因为B，所以A”。这个逻辑把它转化成“B导致了A”在绝大部分情况下都是成立的，这句话就可变成：

　　The growing number of fast food restaurants is causing the average weight of children toincrease.

　　中文“导致”最常用的cause 和lead to是有cause/lead sb/sth to do 的结构，但这两个词很多情况下都是直接跟名词或名词性短语使用，所以以上句子还可改成：

　　The growing number of fast food restaurants is causing/leading to an increase in the average weight of children.

　　通过简化还可变成：

　　The growing number of fast food restaurants is increasing the average weight of children.

　　再来个例子：

　　Consumers spend more because of advertisements .

　　逻辑转化

　　Advertisements make consumers spend more或 Advertisements lead to an increase in consumer expenditure 或Advertisements increase consumer spending

　　再来个例子：

　　It is difficult for students to pass the exam because of tough grading system.

　　逻辑转化

　　Tough grading makes it hard/challenging for students to pass the exam.

　　另外，如果我们用A + because/because of + B的结构来论证的是B的好处的话，还可以活用使B allow/enable sb to do sth(A)使某人能够做某事的句型。

　　例：

　　Young people become more independent and self-sufficient because they live far from family and friends.

　　这句话显然是要论证年轻人远离家庭和朋友的好处。通过逻辑转化：

　　Living far from family and friends allows/enables young people to become more independent and self-sufficient.

　　例

　　People are now able to travel from one place to another very quickly because of modern forms of transportation.

　　这句话需要论证的是现代交通方式的好处。通过逻辑转化：

　　The modern means of transportation allows/enables people to move from one place to another very quickly.

　　准确理解以上句子改写的内在逻辑还可以帮助同学们戒掉一个被考官广泛吐槽的一个句子：

　　With the development of science and technology, …这个表达法的内在逻辑就是随着A…,然后B，with后面的内容通常是这个句子的原因

　　例：

　　With the increasing use of mobile phones and computers, fewer people tend to write letters.

　　根据以上的分析，句子可轻松改写成以下句子：

　　Fewer people tend to write letters because of the increasing use of mobile phones and computers.

　　(虽然是很常见的because of，但至少避免了使用被用烂了的表达方式)

　　再通过逻辑转化就可以改成：

　　The increasing use/popularity of mobile phones and computers leads/causes fewer people to write letters.

　　稍微高级一点
