　　美国语言学家Diller研究表明，在托福考试中，词汇量较大的考生往往要比词汇量小的考生取得更高的分数。考托福想获得80+以上的分数，词汇量要求大概在7000—8000左右。

　　这么多单词通常会使同学们应接不暇，好不容易背诵完了艺术类的单词，信心满满去考试，结果考的全是天文。

　　虽然单词虐我们千百遍，我们仍然要好好了解它。

　　托福都考什么词汇?

　　托福考试中，一般对阅读和听力部分的词汇考察较多，而这两部分的词汇考察主要分为四大类，包括艺术，生命科学，自然科学，还有社会科学。

　　1、艺术类主要考察的方向有艺术家、艺术流派、音乐、绘画、雕刻、岩洞艺术、建筑风格与应用等;

　　2、生命科学类主要是是以动物和植物为主要研究对象;

　　3、再就是自然科学类，这一部分主要分为天文和地质两个方向;

　　4、第四类是社会科学，这一类相对比较复杂，涉及的方面比较广，可能涉及到心理学，教育学等，历史类的内容，考古，城邦经济文化，贸易等等....

　　我们通过四大类辐射出来的细小的分类不难发现，难点词汇比较多，背单词还是比较难的。
