　　◆ To begin with, young age is the optimal time in human life to learn new things, which means children are able to grasp things a lot quicker at that their young age. Therefore, it makes it an excellent time for kids to learn more knowledge, which will definitely help them in the future. For example, by starting music lesson at 5 years old, kids can learn an instrument a lot faster than if they are going to start learning at the age of 15, so by learning more things when students are young, it can help them greatly to lay the foundation to their future study.

　　◆ Additionally, the increasing competition force students to work harder, thus more likely to produce better exam results and get better jobs. This can be seen from the case of the introduction of A level system in China, India, Singapore, which has put more pressure on British students to perform well in order to cope with the competition from abroad. This will see better results as students are now putting more efforts in to remain top of the class.

　　◆ Moreover, universities also benefit from this increasing competition as now they can attract more better, attractive students. For instance, university entrance requirement has risen by a lot recently mainly due to the heavy competition and students’ performing better and better in their exams. In UK, A* grade replaced A grade as being the best grade possible in the A-level test, thus university will now be looking for better and academically stronger students than before, which definitely helps with their reputation.

　　◆ In conclusion, I come to the conclusion that increasing competition causing student to worker harder from younger age is a brilliant news for universities and of course students themselves. By working harder, they can achieve better grade and increase their chance of getting optimal job in the future.
