今天的内容是：旅行篇的第二部分 酒店入住&退房
经历“九九八十一难”，各位爸妈终于来到了酒店。长途跋涉的爸妈们此刻只需办理好入住手续就可以美美睡上一觉了，来看看国外酒店办理入住手续要用到哪些对话：
#1 入住
Hotel Check-in
A: Good evening, sir. Welcome to the Hilton Hotel. How may I help you?
先生晚上好, 欢迎来到希尔顿酒店。有什么可以帮您?
B: Hello, I have booked a room online under the name of Li Lei.
你好，我在网上预订了你们酒店的房间，预定人的名字是李雷。
A: May I have your passport for check in，please?
请出示您的护照办理入住手续。
B: Here you are.
好的，给你。
A: Thank you, your reservation is: a twin room from the first of July to the third of July for two nights. Is that right?
谢谢，我这面查到了您的预定信息：您预定的是一间双人房，入住日期是从7月1日到3日共两晚对吗?
B: That’s correct.
是的。
A: You have to pay a deposit of 500 dollars. This money will be refunded when you check out.
那你需要支付500美元的押金，这笔钱将在您退房时返还到您卡上。
B: No problem.
好的，没问题。
A: Sir, here is your passport, credit card and your room card. Your room number is 1102.
先生，这是您的护照，信用卡和房卡。您的房间号是1102。
B: The room rate includes breakfast, right?
我的房费包含了早餐对吗?
A: Yes. Our breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the restaurant on the third floor.

B: Does my room have a Wi-Fi connection?
我的房间能连无线网吗?
A: Yes and the password is your room number.

A: You are welcome. You can take an elevator on the left side of the lobby. Have a good night, sir.
先生不用谢，电梯就在酒店大厅的左面。晚安。
在国外酒店办理入住手续时，除了需要出示护照登记信息外，通常还要告诉酒店前台预约人姓名。Under the name of 的意思就是以某人名义。Book常见的意思是书籍，但用作动词时意思就变成了预定、预约。Online是在线、上网的意思，国外常见的酒店预订网站有TripAdvisor, Booking.com等，爸妈们在这些网站上可以找到各种价位，各种类型的酒店或旅舍。
表示“预定”除了book，也可用make a reservation。Twin的本意是双胞胎，room是房间，所以twin room指的就是有两张床的双人间。国外酒店常见的房型有Single单人间(房间有1张单人床，睡一个人刚好，适合单人旅行)、Double大床双人间(房间有1张双人床，可睡两人，适合夫妻、情侣)、Suite套间(套间一般由两个或两个以上房间，客厅以及餐厅组成，适合家庭入住)。除了这些房型，爸妈也会看到king size或queen size标注的床型。一般来说，这两种都属于超大床型，king要比queen更长一些。
Deposit 有存款、保证金的意思，refund是退款，跟国内酒店一样，国外住酒店也需要缴纳押金，这笔押金会在退房时返还到支付卡上。这里出现的credit card就是大家常见的信用卡，与之对应的储蓄卡就是debit card。Rate本来的意思是比率，但用在room rate的时候，rate的意思变成了价格。Include的意思是包含、包括，要表示包括某物的时候，直接用include+被包括的对象就可以了，比如This payment includes the consumption tax.付的这笔钱包含了消费税。
Restaurant 的意思是餐厅，饭店， breakfast 是早餐，科普一下，午餐是lunch，晚餐是dinner，下午茶是afternoon tea。Serve的意思是服务，但是服务员却是waiter(男)或waitress(女)而不是servant仆人、佣人。A.m.是拉丁文缩写，代指上午，下午则是p.m.。
现在我们来复习一下这段对话：

搞定了入住手续，我们再来看看退房时的常用对话是怎样说的：
#2 退房
Hotel Check-out
A：Good morning, sir. May I help you?
先生，您早，有什么可以帮到您吗?
B：Yes, I’d like to check out.
我想退房。
A：Okay, sir. May I have your room card, please?
好的，请把房卡给我，好吗?
B：Sure, here it is.
好的，给你。
A：Just a moment, please. I’ll draw up your bill for you.
请等一下，我帮您结账。
(After a while……)
B：Mr. Li, your bill totals 520 US dollars. How would you like to make the payment?
李先生，您的账单总计是520 美元。您打算如何付款?
A：By credit card. Do you accept Visa?
用信用卡。你们接受维萨信用卡吗?
B：Yes, Mr. Li.
是的，李先生。
A：Here you are.
给你。
B：Could you sign here, please?
请您在这儿签名，好吗?
A：Sure.
好的。
B：Thank you, Mr. Li. Here is your credit card and your receipt. Have a nice trip.
谢谢您，李先生。这是您的卡和收据。祝您旅途愉快。
“请稍等”除了可以用wait 表示，也可以用just a moment，moment的意思是片刻，瞬间。Check的意思虽然是检查，但与in和out连用时，意思发生了变化：之前也说过check in的意思很多，可以表示登机，也有入住的意思。相反地，check out的意思就是退房。
Dollar就是美元，除了美元，常见的货币还有英镑Pound和欧元Euro。Bill在这里的意思是账单，sign是签名，信用卡支付完毕后一般需要签字，各位爸妈在国外用信用卡消费后可别忘记了。信用卡有很多种类，常见的有Visa卡、万事达卡(MasterCard)、JCB卡等，中国最常见的是Visa卡，欧美国家则是万事达卡居多。Accept 的意思是接受，可以用来询问酒店是否接受某种支付手段,比如：Do you accept Alipay?能用支付宝吗?
国外移动支付普及度不比国内，爸妈出国旅行的支付方式主要还是cash现金和credit card信用卡两种。表达支付手段的时候也和上期表达交通工具的方式相同：by+具体支付手段。Receipt的意思是收据，有需要的爸妈们在退房时可自行像前台索取。
