　　分析：关于居住在大城市的利弊，我们经常能在各种媒体见到，同时我们自己也会经常讨论。但该题仅就居住在大城市是否会对健康有不利影响进行讨论，所以审题要注意，写作时不要偏题。这个话题并不难，也不缺素材。

　　While the large-scale campaign of urbanization has made city residents reconsider its consequences, especially the increasingly highlighted faults of any cities, such as crowdedness, high pressure of living, worsening air quality, etc., which are generally thought to be factors negatively affecting public health. It seems to me that it is not so simple to argue that city life might damage our health, though.

　　Indeed, it has to be clarified that the compact and noisy living environment, hustle and bustle life, and the dizzy and smelly motor vehicle exhaust can undoubtedly undermine people’s well-being in the long term. This is because such surroundings can easily spark nervousness and depression of a person, thus may erode the health of some people psychologically, not to mention that the severe pollution can bring direct disease to human organs. However, the problems could be tackled by the means of doing sports regularly, bettering our environment through lessening the emission of carbon dioxide and many other ways.

　　The life in urban areas, alternatively, can contribute a lot to citizens’ soundness, in my perspective. The foremost advantage in terms of health is the advanced medical technology and a substantial number of hospitals in diverse scales gathering in cities, offering great convenience and timeliness to patients. In addition, owing to the fast flow of information and the significance of capital cities, more concepts of health and more methods of keep fit can be effortlessly accessed by urban inhabitants. By contrast, if an individual living in countryside gets ill, it may cost him or her one or two hours to the nearest hospital, which may be so shabby that it only has some basic medical facilities and several doctors. Furthermore, villages are not equipped with satisfying hygiene condition and their residents often show unhealthy living habits, without the consciousness of keeping healthy and hygienic.

　　By and large, although there may exist some problems to influence our health, they could be resolved by various ways and I would reclaim that it is more advantageous to live in big cities, even though just on the sake of health, because there are much more resources concerning health enjoyed by urban folks.
