　　一、雅思阅读关键词之如何寻找文章关键词：

　　所谓“关键词’’是指题干中的核心词或者决定答案性质或位置的词。典型的关键词是句子的主干、人名、地名、时间、数字和生词。首先要明白找雅思阅读关键词的基本原则是：名词>动词>形容词，按照顺序依次寻找。很多资料中称这三种词为“关键词金三角”。以剑桥真题3-1-1中的list of headings的前三个选项为例：

　　i How the reaction principle works

　　ii The impact of the reaction principle

　　iii Writer’s theories of the reaction principle

　　可以看到i选项中只有一个名词词组：reaction principle，但是因为在ii、iii中都有reaction principle因此此关键词失效，就找到动词--works。同理可以在ii中找到除了reaction principle之外的另外一个名词(即关键词)--impact，iii中找到writer’s theories。

　　实际考试中可能会遇到一些更复杂的句子：

　　例如3-1-3中

　　iv Explaining the inductive method

　　v Anticipating results before data is collected

　　如果按照关键词金三角的判断方法去寻找，iv中的关键词应该是inductive method,v中的关键词是results 和data。 如果按照这样的方式会文章寻找答案就可能会出错或者根本找不到对应的句子。实际上explaining 和anticipating才应该是这两句话的关键词，原因就在于v-ing在关键词的寻找中扮演着不可忽视的角色。最终我们找到iv对应的原文是： The myth of scientific method is that it is inductive : that the formulation of scientific theory starts with the basic, raw evidence of the senses… 注意到原文中的冒号“：”就是explain所在。 而v对应的原文为So don’t worry if you have some idea of what your results will tell you before you even begin to collect data。Anticipating 对应者文章的是“have some idea” 。

　　二、雅思阅读关键词之阅读文章常见关键词：

　　1.比较类关键词

　　equally、 likewise、 similarly、 in comparison、 more、 than、 less、 the least、 the most、prefer、 as…as、 etc.

　　2.并列类关键词

　　first,、second…finally、 and、or,、as well as、one… the other、not…nor…、 etc.

　　3.因果类关键词

　　because of、due to、 contribute to、 owning to、 hence、 since、 accordingly、consequently、therefore、 as a result、result in、 result from、lead to、in that、 etc.

　　4.转折类关键词

　　but, although、 though、 while、yet、 despite、in spite of、otherwise、 on the other hand however、 nevertheless,、nonetheless、 etc.
