　　1.How can people be motivated to learn new things?

　　首先我们认为一个人如果有动机学习，那必然有内在和外在的动力。

　　内在的动力和别人无关，只是单纯的兴趣和想要提升自己;外在的动力当然有时候也非常重要，比如看到了同伴取得了成功，这是一种同伴压力。

　　From my perspective, one tends to be stimulated and is more likely to learn something new because of inner motivation, that is he or she really wants to make an improvement. Also they will also be motivated when they witness the achievement others gained, I mean, it is a kind of peer pressure. Besides, obtaining achievements after a short period of study will also promote one to keep learning in this new field.

　　我认为需要学习的技能非常多，但是其中很重要的一个是公共演讲能力，因为在很多场合都会非常必要，比如论文答辩、报告ppt，这是体现了一个人的逻辑和自我表达的能力。现在的社会，工作完成得好很重要，表达得好也同样重要。

　　I wanna learn public speaking. This skill is important when makingoral thesis defense(论文答辩) or presenting PowerPoint in front of the public. This is a capability for logical self-expression which is a significant skill to show our competence(体现自身能力). In nowadays society, you should not only do your job, but also present them properly.

　　3.What can children learn from teachers and parents?

　　从学校和家庭获取的东西有点区别，从老师那里孩子要学习知识内容和学习的方法，而在家孩子主要跟父母学习为人处事，怎么和别人相处。

　　In school, children can learn not only knowledge from teachers but also the methods of learning(学习方法) effectively. While at home, parents should be responsible for teaching them the way to dealing with different issues and the skills to get along with others.

　　4.What skills do adults need to have?

　　什么是成年人呢?除了年龄到18岁，更重要的是一些特质，比如独立，不那么情绪化，快速调节自己的情绪，而这些需要我们走出安全区，面对问题时自己独立解决，才能成为一个真正的成年人。

　　Adults should learn to be independent and find their feet(独当一面). To be more accurate, adults are supposed to adjust themselves rapidly, be less emotional(少情绪化) when problems pop up(突然出现). To achieve these skills, adults should always push themselves to set out of their comfort zones. Because there are lots of obstacles in life, we have to be real grown-ups and try our best to be self-reliant and solve all problems.

　　5.What skills should be taught to children?

　　同样，这里我们也可以说到孩子的自我表达能力很重要，比如怎么提出问题，怎么提出要求，怎么拒绝别人都是很重要的。

　　自我表达在以后的生活中是非常必要的技能，如果可以更好表达自己，那么孩子可能会更容易成功。

　　From my perspective, children should be taught to better express themselves, which includes how to raise up their questions, how to put forward their requirements properly and how to decline the requests they are unable to do politely. It is because after growing up and setting foot on society, a person capable of expressing himself or herself is more likely to find the position and be successful in terms of work and interpersonal relationships.
