　　柴静出生于山西临汾

　　1992 在长沙铁道学院读书

　　2001年柴静担任中央电视台东方时空主持人

　　2003年担任新闻调查记者，并出现在非典一线、矿难的真相调查

　　2011年起担任看见主持人，二零一三年出版讲述央视十年历程的自传性作品《看见》，销量超过一百万册，成为年度最畅销书籍，

　　2014年从央视离职，一年后推出空气污染深度调查纪录片《穹顶之下》，这部纪录片一推出，就十分轰动。

　　When she worked as TV host, she used to have a program 节目 which focused on/concentrated on the hot issues under certain social background = context 背景 = contextualization such as endangered animal protection, desertification problem 沙漠化问题， marine pollution and of course, the air pollution problem in certain areas of China.

　　当她作为主持人工作时，她曾经主持过一个叫做【看见】的节目，它关注于在中国社会背景下的热点事件。比如说，濒危动物保护、土地沙漠化问题、海洋污染，当然，还有中国某些区域的环境污染问题。

　　After she resigned 辞职, Chaijing produced a series of documentary called Under the Dome, which brought about great influence and discussion about the environmental protection.

　　她辞职之后，柴静出品了一系列叫做Under the Dome的纪录片， 并带来了巨大的影响和广泛的对于环境保护问题的讨论。

　　As for how I think about this person, well,

　　firstly, she is a brave and insightful journalist and producer, since very few works had explored this problem systematically in China.

　　至于我的看法，我想说，

　　首先，她是一个勇敢和有洞察力的人记者和出品人，因为之前很少有作品能够非常系统的发掘这个问题。

　　Nevertheless, on the other hand, it is claimed that some data in the documentary was invalid and inaccurate, besides, she expressed too many personal opinion and perspective, which downgraded 使降低/devalue the credibility of her work.

　　然而，在另一方面，有人称纪录片内的一些数据并非属实，另外，有些观点的表达也显得相对主观，这降低了她作品的说服力.
