　　I'd say yes as I have a good sense of comedic timing, like, I know how to use“the pause”magically, but I don't think I can tell structured jokes perfectly, probably because I only have a knack for natural funny. The most important thing to remember here is to relate the target to the person you're telling the joke to, which is a means of communication skill after all.
