　　So a famous person I’m interested in is Robert Downey, Jr. He is an American movie star who has appeared in many Marvel movies as Ironman. He’s also acted in other roles, such as the detective Sherlock Holmes. I’m pretty sure that he’s one of the most famous actors today, especially since the Marvel movies are so popular. For example, all my friends know who he is.

　　I knew about Robert Downey, Jr. because, well, I’ve watched his movies. The first time I saw him was when he appeared in the first Ironman movie, and after I watched the movie I searched him up on the Internet and read about his career and personal life.

　　As for what he’s like before he got famous... well, from what I know, Robert Downey, Jr. had a very interesting past. He has been acting in movies since he was a kid, but he got exposed to drugs and alcohol at a young age, and he even went to jail for it. That was the low point of his life. However, eventually he was able to overcome his addiction and his friends were able to get him to audition for Ironman. He passed the audition, and the rest is history.

　　I guess I’m interested in Robert Downey, Jr. because of his troubled past, which to me shows that anyone can redeem himself. I also really like his character in Ironman. He’s very funny, smart, and charismatic in the movies, and he just has this unique energy that makes him such an interesting and likeable person.

　　Yeah, there are many kinds of famous people in my country, including politicians, athletes, and musicians.

　　Do you think celebrities should necessarily be good in their field?

　　Well yeah, I think it’s better for society if celebrities are famous because they are talented in their field, since a lot of young people look up to them as role models.

　　What are the differences between famous people today and those in the past?

　　Many famous people today are people who work in the entertainment industry, whereas famous people in the past tended to be well-known scientists or artists.

　　Do you think the media is putting too much attention on famous people?

　　Yeah, I do think so, and it’s bad for society because it gives normal people unrealistic expectations about how they should look or how they should behave.
