　　I guess I could start off by saying a bit about who this person is, and the person I’d pick is Mallory, one of my classmates from university. We’ve known each other for a few years now, and she’s definitely one of a kind.

　　So, as for what Mallory does, well, like I said, she’s a university student, and she majors in illustration. I guess the fact that she’s an art student contributes to her unusual choices in clothes. She’s very creative and individualistic, so she’s not too interested in mainstream culture. She also doesn’t care that much about what other people think of her, which is something I admire.

　　Okay, so I think the clothes she wears are unusual because they’re probably not what people typically wear. Her fashion sense is eclectic—even unconventional—so sometimes she might be wearing vintage clothes from the 80s and other times she might be dressed up as her favourite anime character. I mean, I’ve hardly ever seen her wear a simple blouse and dress pants. She’s always wearing something strange or eye-catching in some way.

　　To end with, Mallory is a great friend of mine, and I know that many of our classmates are actually inspired by her individuality and self-expression. She doesn’t cave into peer pressure or anything, and she clearly doesn’t care about being popular either. Her fashion choices might be unusual, but they’re what make Mallory unique, and I always look forward to seeing what outfit she wears the next day.

　　I think online shopping is a good trend in general because it’s much more convenient, and there’s a greater variety of products.

　　Are there any differences between men and women’s preferences in clothes?

　　I think that men tend to prefer plain and simple clothes, while women tend to prefer fancier, more stylish clothes.

　　Do you think clothes tend to influence one’s mood?

　　I don’t think clothes have a big effect on your mood, but I guess if you’re dressed really nicely it can make you feel more confident, and if you’re dressed comfortably it can make you feel more relaxed.
