Describe a time when you ate something for the first time

  You should say:

  When it happened

  Where it happened

  What food you ate

And explain how you felt about this kind of food

Okay, so I’m going to talk about a time when I ate something for the first time, and what comes to mind first is when I tasted a snack called snowflake crisp—just last weekend, actually. You might be wondering what snowflake crisp is. Well, it’s actually a snack that became quite popular recently, and it tastes absolutely amazing!

So, I tasted snowflake crisp for the first time at my own home. I have a friend in Hangzhou who’s a wonderful and very gifted baker, and she often likes to make pastries at home. She has her own independent brand, which I think is really neat, and she decided to send me two packs of snowflake crisp for me to sample.

I had never eaten snowflake crisp before, so I knew I was in for a pleasant surprise. The package arrived the very next day, and when I opened it, there was a sweet buttery smell to the biscuits that was totally irresistible. Snowflake crisp is a Chinese dessert that combines small pieces of fruit, nuts, and biscuits stirred in with melted butter and marshmallow. When I finally tasted the biscuit, it felt like one of the most delicious snacks I’ve ever had.

To wrap things up, I think snowflake crisp is incredibly tasty, and it’s also pretty addicting. I mean, I remember eating the biscuits one after another—I just couldn’t stop! Not surprisingly, I finished an entire bag in one night. But yeah, all in all, snowflake crisp is a lovely snack that I would recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.

  Part3:

Do you think young people are more open to new food compared with old people?

For sure, I think young people are more open-minded toward trying new foods since they tend to get more exposure to different cuisines. In contrast, old people are more set in their ways.

Do you think parents and teachers should teach children about food?

Yeah, I think it’s important for parents and teachers to teach children how to tell the difference between food that is nutritious and food that is unhealthy as well as what a healthy diet should consist of.
