　　Okay, so I’m asked to describe my first day of school. So, my first day of school was sometime in August, when I was about five-years old, and I was attending kindergarten for the first time.

　　My primary school is in the Xuhui district of Shanghai. It’s actually one of the oldest primary schools in the city, and it’s still around today. Well, since the school is close enough to my family’s apartment, my parents brought me over on the first day. I remember being very nervous since I had no idea what to expect, and the huge crowds of students and parents looked intimidating to me. When my parents were getting ready to leave, I even started to cry since this was the first time I would be away from them for such a long time. However, I recall the teacher being extremely warm and welcoming, and my classmates were also very friendly. My classmates and I were all going through the same challenging experience, but after a bunch of fun games and activities in class, we were eventually able to adjust and even make new friends.

　　To wrap things up, even though I felt nervous at the beginning, I was gradually able to relax and enjoy myself at school. After a few days of school, I was even excited and eager to go to school every day to learn and get to know my classmates. I made a few new friends during my first week of school who are still my friends to this day. All in all, my first day of school turned out to be quite fulfilling.

　　I think young children in elementary school should be sent by their parents, but older children like high school students should learn to go to school by themselves.

　　I think it would be useful for children to learn to be more independent, since they have to rely on themselves in the future as well.

　　How can we teach children to be more independent?

　　I guess we can teach children to be independent by having them perform daily chores by themselves, like doing the laundry, cooking, cleaning, and things like that.

　　What are the effects of parents interfering with their children excessively?

　　Um, I think that would limit the development of their independence, and children might also become frustrated or annoyed with their parents.
