　　Okay, so one time I lost my way was during a school field trip in elementary school. We were all planning to visit the Shanghai Natural History Museum, which is near the city centre, and several classes would go on this field trip together. Altogether, there were probably over a hundred students.

　　As for what happened, after we all got off the bus, some of the students wanted to buy something to eat first, so they all went to nearby shops and restaurants accompanied by teachers. Well, I was trying to find a dessert shop that I was interested in when I noticed that all of my classmates were gone. I didn’t know where they went, but all of a sudden, I couldn’t see any of them.

　　During that time, I felt nervous and scared. I realised that I should have followed them to whatever shop or restaurant they went to, but it was too late since they were all gone. I wandered around the streets nearby and even walked into several shops asking if the shop owners had seen a group of students in the area. Eventually, one of them told me that he saw a group of students walking down the street across from his shop and told me to quickly follow them.

　　And, that was how I found my way. I ran down the street and finally found a few of my classmates. They were surprised to see me, but a few of them hadn’t even notice I was gone. In any case, I felt relieved when I found them, and I ended up enjoying the rest of the day.

　　I think some people have a more difficult time reading maps or navigating unfamiliar places, so it’s easier for them to get lost.
