And aside from being long, the Chang Jiang is also quite wide and deep, which allows ships to travel through it easily.There are lots of reasons why the Chang Jiang river is important. The first reason is that it helps transport goods between different Chinese cities. Secondly, the river is important for agriculture in China, as it provides water for vegetables as well as fish. So, in other words, you could say that it’s important for people’s survival. Also, the river is a big part of tourism in China. Many of the cities nearby are popular tourist destinations, and there are even river cruises for the Chang Jiang river.
