Something I did that made me feel proud was when I did well on my final exams in school.

This happened last year, before the school semester ended. Final exams are very important because they make up a big part of your grades. And your grades are important because they determine what college you can attend. So, anyway, it was important that I studied hard for my final exams.

Final exams are hard to prepare for because they cover a lot of material and content, like a whole semester’s worth. In order to prepare for my exams, I studied weeks ahead of time. I reviewed my notes and did lots of practice. Sometimes I studied with my friends, but mostly I studied at home, after I got back from school. I would shut myself in my room so that I wouldn’t be distracted by anything, and I even put my phone away and tried not to look at it because it was hard to stop once I did. However, I also took plenty of breaks because it helped me stay refreshed and energized so that I could concentrate better afterwards. After several weeks of this, I had prepared as much as I could for the exams.

And then, on the exam day, I was nervous, but I also felt pretty confident that I could do well. When my test results finally came out, I was very glad to see that I had scored well, and I felt quite proud of myself. The whole experience taught me that hard work pays off.
