A city I would like to stay in for a short time is Shanghai.

Shanghai is a city that is located in the east side of China—near the coast, like many big cities in China. It’s also next to a major river. Shanghai is known for being very modern and developed, and it’s basically the financial centre of China. It has a great reputation in general and it’s a popular tourist destination.

As for whom I would go there with, probably my parents during a holiday, like maybe during the winter or summer break. We would be able to do lots of different things there. For example, we could visit ancient temples and buildings, along with famous museums and parks. Some of the most famous places in the city include The Bund, the Jade Buddha Temple, and Yu Yuan Garden. These are all amazing and beautiful historical places. And if we want to have fun, we could also go to Disneyland and easily spend a whole day there. Besides going to tourist hotspots, we could go shopping at department stores and eat at different local restaurants. The food can be quite tasty and not that expensive.

And finally, I would stay there for just a short time because I live in another city and go to school there, so I can’t stay at Shanghai permanently. It would just be a holiday visit for maybe a week or so. I’m definitely looking forward to my trip. In fact, I think that everyone should visit Shanghai at least once in their life and see the attractions in person.

Beijing is a city that is located in Northern China—kind of near the coast, like many big cities in China. Beijing is the capital of China, and it’s a huge city that’s very modern and well-developed. It has a good reputation in general and it’s a popular tourist destination.

As for whom I would go there with, probably my parents during a holiday, like maybe during the winter or summer break. We would be able to do lots of different things there. For example, we could visit ancient temples and buildings, along with famous museums and parks. Some of the most famous tourist attractions in Beijing include the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Tiananmen Square, and the Temple of Heaven. These are all amazing and beautiful historical places. And if we want to have fun, we could also go to Universal Studios and easily spend a whole day there. Besides going to tourist hotspots, we could go shopping at department stores and eat at different local restaurants, like ones that sell roast duck. The food can be quite tasty and not that expensive.

And finally, I would stay there for just a short time because I live Shanghai and go to school there, so I can’t stay at Beijing permanently. It would just be a holiday visit for maybe a week or so. I’m definitely looking forward to my trip. In fact, I think that everyone should visit Beijing at least once in their life and see the attractions in person.
