I’m going to talk about a time when I missed an appointment.

This happened about a year ago, when I made a dentist appointment for cleaning my teeth. Normally, I get my teeth cleaned about once a year because it helps prevent cavities and it’s good for oral hygiene. And I usually book at the same clinic every year. It’s not very expensive and has pretty good service and also isn’t that far from where I live.

But this clinic is also very busy, so you have to book ahead of time. I made my appointment over their online app about a week beforehand. It’s pretty easy and simple to do that. You just press a few buttons and choose a time. However, if you miss your reservation, then it just skips over you and you won’t be able to get a checkup that day because, like I said, it’s a very busy place with a fixed schedule. They are quite strict about that.

Anyway, I ended up missing my appointment because I overslept. The night before, I had set my alarm clock to 10:30, as the appointment was at noon. However, I stayed up late watching a really addicting TV show, so I didn’t end up sleeping until around 3 or 4. And because I was so tired, I missed my alarm clock in the morning.

I felt pretty bad about missing my appointment because it was irresponsible of me. It reminded me that I need to manage my time better and to go to bed earlier, especially if I had an important appointment the next morning.
