  范文:

The graphs depict the number of university students and the government expenditure for the students in a European country from 1984 to 2009, while the pie chart illustrates the situation of family income.

According to the bar chart, between 1984 and 2009, the quantity of students showed an upward trend. Beginning at 100,000 students, the figure rose dramatically to around 450,000. Following this, the number dropped down a little before continuing to grow sharply from 1999 to 2009, reaching the peak at 510,000 students.

However, there was a decreasing tendency in the expenditure from the government. Spending around 14,000 on the students in 1984, the government reduced its subsidy year by year until 2004, when it arrived at the bottom (11,000). The money for students then went up again in 2009.

It is noted from the pie chart that a half of students in the university were coming from the high income family while the rates of low income family and the middle income family (at 26% and 22% respectively) had a fairly subtle disparity.

In conclusion, an increasing number of students entered university during the period whilst the government support had been cut down. And a majority of students came from the high income family.

  参考范文:

In this prosperous phase of tourism, a growing number of travellers like to relax by visiting famous tourist resorts alone, and some of them do not believe that preserving the traditions and customs is their obligation. From my perspective, however, it is likely that the holiday-goers should highly share the responsibility of protecting the environment with the residents.

To begin with, the travellers should learn some traditions of the countries beforehand to increase the awareness and behaviour when planning their itinerary, which is basically required. They should collect sufficient information and conduct research so as to further understand the customs and the exotic culture of scenic spots. Take Ramadan as an example. This is the most important holiday in the Middle East. Those who plan to visit the Muslim nations should know the month of fast. This self-training will prevent them from disrespecting the different culture.

Furthermore, government give priority to publicizing the importance of protecting the environment, which can also enable the travellers to realize the effect of their behaviours. Rather than just boosting the sight-seeing business, the government should consider a way to alleviate the environmental pressure. For example, warm and sweet reminders should be given for the purpose of conserving the famous temples, historical churches, spectacular museums, old palaces, lakes and beaches. Additionally, those who spit everywhere or damage the cultural relics should be fined on spot. With this proper guidance and stringent rules, those who go to other places will observe the traditions as a consequence.

Admittedly, some visitors take it for granted that it is the local people who should protect the environment and the local culture. Although the desire of greenness is increasingly emphasized in people’s concept, they still lack of consciousness take actions to build up eco-friendly surrounding. It is too easy for tourists to either leave their footprints in nature conservation areas or buy some products which are made of the endangered species, consequently destroying the environment.

To sum up, it is possible for the visitors to devote their efforts to establish a world with better self-awareness and the guide from organizations in tourism industry. It is important for people to give positive contributions to the unique of local cultures and conservation of natural heritage.
